MessageGears Adds ChatGPT and Claude Tools for Campaign Preparation
MessageGears announced on October 8, 2026, new AI capabilities connecting ChatGPT, Claude and other compatible assistants to its enterprise marketing platform. The Atlanta-based company’s update combines conversational campaign preparation, programmatic APIs and predictive customer models.
The tools allow marketing teams to turn written instructions into configured audiences, campaign drafts and multichannel content within their existing MessageGears accounts.
Preparing Campaigns Through Conversation
The integration uses Model Context Protocol, or MCP, which connects AI assistants to external platforms. Marketers can describe a campaign’s requirements and ask the assistant to create it from a template, attach an audience and run checks before launch.
MessageGears’ documentation illustrates the process with an audience of customers who purchased within the previous 90 days but have not opened an email in 30 days. The assistant builds the segment and reports its size. Marketers can then refine the selection, review updated counts and connect it to a campaign.
Content preparation also extends across channels. Teams can request email subject lines, develop SMS messages and add push notification content while checking copy against the platform’s channel limits.
Working Directly With Customer Data
According to MessageGears, the capabilities operate on information held in a company’s cloud data warehouse, rather than requiring a separate customer database inside the marketing platform.
Supported platforms include Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Databricks and Amazon Redshift. Audience selection and personalization can therefore draw on the information available in the warehouse, reducing reliance on exports and repeated synchronization between systems.
CEO Nathan Remmes described the approach as placing existing enterprise data infrastructure at the center of marketing AI strategy.
Predictive Scores Become Part of Campaign Planning
The update brings indicators such as purchase likelihood, customer lifetime value and churn risk into targeting and personalization workflows.
Marketers can use those scores to define segments, adapt message content and inform channel selection. MessageGears supports its own predictive models alongside models supplied by customers or other providers.
People Remain Responsible for Launching Sends
The MCP assistant prepares campaigns but cannot launch production sends. A person launches the completed email, SMS or push campaign through MessageGears’ Accelerator interface.
Before that step, the assistant can check whether the campaign has a template, a valid audience, a sender identity and an appropriate schedule. It can also create test audiences that direct messages to a configured test inbox.
Access follows each user’s existing roles and permissions. According to the documentation, the MCP tools return campaign configuration, audience counts and status information without exposing individual subscriber records to the AI model.
The capabilities are available to MessageGears customers, with MCP enablement handled through the company’s account and professional services teams.
