Re-Engage Inactive Customers With a Controlled Sequence
Service Scope
Brevo Customer Win-Back Email Automation Setup is a fixed-scope Brevo email marketing service for one business, one Brevo account, one approved inactivity rule, and up to three win-back emails.
The service creates one eligible customer segment or supported trigger, configures up to three emails and delays, and adds purchase or engagement exit rules based on data visible in Brevo.
The objective is to provide a repeatable re-engagement path for a clearly defined inactive audience while avoiding contacts who are restricted or who have already returned.
Define the Inactive Customer Audience
We translate one client-approved inactivity definition into a Brevo segment or supported automation entry rule.
- Last purchase or qualified activity
- Minimum inactivity period
- Email eligibility
- Customer status
- Frequency and re-entry controls
Build the Win-Back Sequence
We configure up to three emails using final client content, approved offers, and destination links. The sequence can move from a reminder to a stronger return incentive and a final preference or last-chance message.
Add Return and Suppression Logic
We configure supported exits for contacts who purchase, complete the approved engagement action, become ineligible for marketing, or otherwise should leave the sequence.
Testing and Validation
We test the entry logic with representative profiles and review the email order, delays, offers, links, exit conditions, and activation status.
- Inactivity rule
- Contact eligibility
- Email timing
- Offer and link placement
- Purchase or engagement exit
- Activation status
Implementation Summary
At handoff, the client receives a concise implementation summary covering the completed work and any visible platform limitations or unresolved third-party dependencies.
- Audience definition
- Trigger or segment used
- Emails and delays
- Exit and re-entry rules
- Test results
- Recommended review cadence
Client Requirements
Before work begins, the client must provide the following access, information, and approvals:
- Brevo administrator access
- The required website, store, DNS, or source-platform access for the approved scope
- Final brand assets, business information, and implementation instructions
- Timely review and approval of proposed settings and test results
- Reliable purchase or engagement data in Brevo
- One written inactivity definition
- Final email copy, approved offers, images, and links
- Representative active and inactive test profiles

Delivery and Revisions
Standard delivery is 7–10 business days after the inactivity rule, final content, data, and test profiles are ready.
One consolidated correction round is included when submitted within seven days of delivery and remains within the approved scope. New content, a replacement brief, additional assets, or a materially different configuration is treated as separate work.
Important Scope Boundaries

- Data integration or historical purchase repair
- Contact cleanup or verification
- Offer or discount strategy
- Custom event development
