BREVO TRANSACTIONAL EMAIL & SMTP

Route Essential System Emails Through Brevo

Connect one website or application to Brevo SMTP with an approved sender, secure credentials, standard transport settings, controlled test messages, and visible log validation.

Service Scope

Brevo Transactional Email & SMTP Setup is a fixed-scope Brevo email marketing service for one business, one Brevo account, and one existing website or application with standard SMTP settings.

The service reviews the transactional account and sender prerequisites, creates one SMTP credential, configures one supported system, and sends up to three controlled test messages. Custom development is not included.

The objective is to establish a working standard SMTP route for essential one-to-one system messages while documenting the final settings and any application-specific limitations.

Review Transactional Sending Prerequisites

We review the Brevo transactional account status, one primary sender, domain authentication status, and the standard SMTP controls available in the client’s website or application.

Configure the SMTP Connection

We create one dedicated SMTP credential and configure the supported host, port, encryption, username, password, sender, and reply-to settings in the selected system.

Credentials are handled only within the approved client environment and are not placed in public code or documentation.

Review Transactional Logs

We review Brevo’s visible transactional logs for the controlled test messages and document common status information such as accepted, delivered, deferred, bounced, or blocked when available.

Testing and Validation

We send up to three representative test messages through the configured system and review their visible status in Brevo transactional logs.

  • SMTP authentication
  • Sender identity
  • Transport security setting
  • Message submission
  • Visible log status
  • One in-scope configuration correction

Implementation Summary

At handoff, the client receives a concise implementation summary covering the completed work and any visible platform limitations or unresolved third-party dependencies.

  • Connected system
  • Sender used
  • SMTP configuration location
  • Test-message results
  • Visible warnings or failures
  • Credential rotation recommendation

Client Requirements

Before work begins, the client must provide the following access, information, and approvals:

  • Brevo administrator access
  • The required website, store, DNS, or source-platform access for the approved scope
  • Final brand assets, business information, and implementation instructions
  • Timely review and approval of proposed settings and test results
  • Administrator or developer access to one website or application
  • A standard SMTP configuration interface or documented integration point
  • One approved and authenticated sender
  • Up to three safe transactional test cases

Delivery and Revisions

Standard delivery is 5–7 business days after all access, sender prerequisites, and test cases are received. Application restrictions or hosting firewalls can extend troubleshooting.

One consolidated correction round is included when submitted within seven days of delivery and remains within the approved scope. New content, a replacement brief, additional assets, or a materially different configuration is treated as separate work.

Important Scope Boundaries

The following items are not included in this service:

  • Custom application coding or API development
  • More than one website or application
  • Transactional email template design
  • Domain registration or mailbox setup
  • Historical log migration
  • Production incident response
  • Ongoing monitoring or support
  • Guaranteed delivery or inbox placement
