FACEBOOK & INSTAGRAM SHOPS

Turn your product catalog into a connected social storefront.

We configure Commerce Manager, connect your Facebook Page and Instagram professional account, prepare one catalog and shop storefront, and support the Meta review process.

Service Scope

Facebook and Instagram Shop Setup is a fixed-scope social-commerce implementation for one business, one Meta Business Portfolio, one Commerce account, one Facebook Page, one Instagram professional account, one ecommerce store or product feed, and one product catalog. The service is built for businesses that already have products, core product information, prices, images, and an ecommerce destination ready to connect.

The purpose is to turn an existing product catalog into a clear, connected shopping experience across Facebook and Instagram. Rather than treating social profiles as separate promotional channels, the setup creates a structured commerce foundation that allows customers to discover products, browse collections, view product details, and continue toward the available checkout journey.

This service does not include building an ecommerce website from scratch or creating an entire product catalog manually. It organizes, connects, and configures the existing commercial assets needed for a Shop setup within the agreed scope.

Business Assets, Ownership, and Permissions

Before the shop is configured, we review the available Meta business assets and confirm the correct ownership and access structure. This includes the Meta Business Portfolio, Facebook Page, Instagram professional account, Commerce account, catalog, pixel or dataset where relevant, and connected ecommerce platform or feed.

We identify which assets already exist, which ones need to be connected, and whether the required permissions are available for the setup. If the business has older catalogs, duplicate Pages, previous Commerce accounts, or inherited advertising assets, we help clarify which assets should be used for the current implementation.

The account owner remains responsible for providing administrator-level access and completing any ownership, identity, business-verification, banking, tax, policy, or security steps requested directly by Meta. These actions cannot be completed on behalf of the account owner where Meta requires personal or legal confirmation.

Commerce Account and Channel Connection

We configure or connect one Commerce account and link the included Facebook Page and Instagram professional account. The setup is aligned so that the business identity, catalog, shop settings, and visible social channels work together as one commerce system rather than as disconnected assets.

Where an existing ecommerce store or compatible product feed is available, we connect it to the Commerce account and catalog structure. This creates the foundation for product visibility across eligible Facebook and Instagram shopping surfaces, catalog-based advertising, product tagging, and future commerce activity where those features are available to the account.

We also review the channel connections for obvious conflicts, missing permissions, or configuration issues that could prevent products from appearing correctly. If a required connection is unavailable because of account ownership, platform limitations, policy restrictions, or a third-party integration issue, we document the blocker and explain the required next step.

Catalog and Product Data Configuration

A reliable Shop begins with product data that is accurate, consistent, and connected to the correct customer destination. We create or connect one product catalog and configure up to 100 existing products using client-supplied data, images, prices, availability, product links, and other required product information.

We review the catalog structure for common issues that affect product visibility or quality, including incomplete titles, missing prices, unavailable items, weak product images, broken destination links, inconsistent variants, or mismatched inventory information. Where the existing source data allows it, we make configuration-level corrections within the agreed scope.

The service is designed for a working ecommerce catalog, not for large-scale product-data entry, photography, copywriting, inventory management, or feed rebuilding. If the source catalog requires extensive cleanup, new product data, custom feed engineering, or more than 100 products, that work should be scoped separately before implementation begins.

Shopfront, Branding, and Product Collections

We set up the visible shop experience so that customers can move through the catalog in a way that reflects the business, its product categories, and its commercial priorities. This includes shop branding, storefront navigation, featured product organization, and up to five product collections.

Collections can be used to group products by category, season, audience, product type, bestseller status, new arrivals, or another relevant commercial structure. The goal is to make the shop easier to browse without overwhelming visitors with an unstructured product feed.

We use the approved logo, profile imagery, brand colors, and product assets supplied by the client. The setup focuses on a clean and consistent storefront presentation across Facebook and Instagram, while respecting the layout, display rules, and storefront options currently made available by Meta.

Customer Journey and Checkout Readiness

A Shop setup should support a clear path from product discovery to the customer’s next action. We review the available product destinations, ecommerce links, checkout configuration, shipping information, return-policy visibility, and other accessible settings that affect the customer journey.

Depending on the business location, account status, product type, and Meta feature availability, customers may be directed to the ecommerce website, an available checkout option, messaging, or another Meta-supported journey. We configure the accessible setup based on the account’s available options at the time of implementation.

Meta controls the availability of checkout features, product tagging, shopping surfaces, country access, and other commerce functions. The service prepares the account and catalog correctly, but it does not guarantee that a particular checkout experience, sales channel, shopping feature, or placement will be available to every business.

Quality Review and Meta Submission

Before completion, we review the connected assets, catalog status, storefront configuration, visible collections, product links, and accessible Commerce Manager settings. We address configuration issues that can be resolved within the included scope and prepare the shop for Meta’s review process.

We support completion of the required submission steps and provide guidance on any additional action required from the account owner. Meta independently reviews the business, products, catalog, policies, and account history before approving or limiting access to Shop features.

Approval, product eligibility, account eligibility, catalog acceptance, shopping visibility, checkout options, and ongoing access remain decisions of Meta. If Meta requests changes or limits the account after submission, we explain the available next steps, but platform approval and continued feature access cannot be guaranteed.

Handover and Next-Step Guidance

Once the setup is complete, you receive a clear handover of the configured assets and practical guidance on how the Facebook and Instagram Shop connects to your catalog, social channels, ecommerce store, and future Meta advertising activity.

The shop foundation can later support catalog sales campaigns, product tagging, remarketing, dynamic product ads, seasonal collections, and other commerce initiatives where the account is eligible. Those campaigns, advertising strategy, ongoing optimization, product merchandising, and ongoing catalog management are separate services.

Client Inputs and Exclusions

You provide administrator access, approved brand assets, product images, product titles and descriptions, prices, inventory availability, product links, shipping and return policies, ecommerce-platform access, and any required business information. You are responsible for ensuring that products, claims, policies, fulfillment practices, and customer data comply with applicable laws and Meta policies.

The fixed scope does not include product photography, graphic design, copywriting, video production, website development, Shopify or ecommerce-store development, shipping configuration, tax configuration, payment setup, inventory management, manual creation of a large catalog, advertising spend, campaign creation, or ongoing Shop management. Any work outside the included business assets, one catalog, up to 100 existing products, and up to five collections can be quoted separately.
