Service Scope
Google Shopping Ads Setup is a fixed-scope campaign implementation service for one Google Ads account, one active Google Merchant Center account, one existing product data source, one online store, and one primary country of sale. It prepares up to two Standard Shopping campaigns in paused, launch-ready status using products that are already available and eligible in the linked Merchant Center account.
Required Merchant Center and Feed Readiness
This service requires an existing Merchant Center account, a linked Google Ads account, and an active product data source that contains the products intended for advertising. We review the visible account connection, product availability, and obvious eligibility issues that may affect the campaign build. Merchant Center account creation, product-data source creation, feed mapping, feed optimization, product-data editing, error remediation, disapproval resolution, shipping configuration, tax configuration, and policy support are separate services.
Business Goals and Product Priorities
We confirm the agreed commercial objective, primary conversion action, target country of sale, budget direction, and the products or product categories that deserve priority. The setup is built around the client’s existing product information and business priorities rather than automatically advertising every product in the catalog without a clear commercial reason.
Shopping Campaign Architecture
We build up to two Standard Shopping campaigns for the approved store and country of sale. The campaigns are organized around the agreed inventory priorities, budget direction, and level of product control. This package covers Standard Shopping only; Performance Max, local inventory ads, free-listing management, remarketing, Demand Gen, Display, YouTube, and other campaign types are not included.
Product Group Segmentation
We create up to six product-group subdivisions using the product attributes already available in the linked Merchant Center data source, such as product category, product type, brand, item ID, condition, or existing custom labels. The purpose is to give the client a practical starting structure for controlling which approved products receive budget and how priority inventory is separated. Creating, correcting, or adding product attributes and custom labels is feed work and is not included.
Campaign Settings and Inventory Direction
We configure the approved country of sale, networks, inventory filters where appropriate, campaign naming, budget allocation, and other available Standard Shopping settings. The setup uses the client’s approved market and store information. Multi-country setups, multiple feeds, multiple stores, local inventory, and complex inventory filters require separate scope approval.
Budget, Bidding, and Conversion-Goal Direction
We apply the agreed initial budget and bidding direction based on the account’s available conversion data, product margins where supplied, and the approved business objective. We connect the campaigns to the appropriate existing Google Ads conversion goals when reliable tracking is already available. Conversion tracking setup, GA4 setup, Google Tag Manager work, value implementation, attribution repair, and tracking troubleshooting are separate services.
Initial Negative-Keyword Foundation
We prepare an initial negative-keyword framework of up to 20 approved terms or themes to reduce clearly irrelevant Shopping traffic where applicable. This is a starting safeguard, not ongoing search-term optimization. Live search-term review, expansion of negative keywords, bid changes, product-group refinement, and budget reallocation after activation belong to a separate management service.
Product and Landing-Page Alignment Review
We review the visible alignment between selected products, product data, and the corresponding store pages for the approved campaign scope. We flag obvious concerns that may affect shopper experience, such as unavailable products, mismatched basic offer information, or missing product-page clarity. Product titles, descriptions, images, prices, availability, shipping details, checkout issues, and website edits are not changed under this package.
Quality Assurance and Launch-Ready Handoff
Before handoff, we review the linked accounts, campaign settings, selected inventory, product-group structure, budget and bidding direction, negative-keyword foundation, and conversion-goal selection for the approved scope. Completed campaigns are delivered in paused, launch-ready status for client review. This package prepares the campaign build; it does not include campaign activation, ad spend, live delivery monitoring, or optimization after activation.
Client Inputs and Timeline
After purchase, the client provides appropriate Google Ads and Merchant Center access, the approved country of sale, store URL, budget range, priority products or categories, product-margin direction where available, desired conversion action, and any client-approved exclusions. Standard delivery is 7–10 business days after complete intake and all required access are received. Incomplete product data, unresolved Merchant Center issues, delayed approvals, unavailable tracking, or missing business information may extend delivery.
Revisions and Scope Boundaries
One consolidated revision round is included when submitted within seven days of delivery and remains within the original approved scope. Merchant Center setup, product-feed creation, product-feed optimization, product-data changes, product disapproval fixes, policy appeals, promotions setup, tax or shipping configuration, conversion tracking, Performance Max, local inventory, campaign activation, Google ad spend, reporting, ongoing optimization, and ongoing management are not included. Google controls product eligibility, ad approval, auction outcomes, placement, delivery, and performance; no impressions, clicks, sales, conversion rate, ROAS, or revenue outcome is guaranteed.
