MAILCHIMP SIGNUP FORM INTEGRATION

Turn Website Visitors Into Organized Subscribers

We create one embedded form and one popup form for a prepared Mailchimp audience, align the approved fields and opt-in experience, install the forms on one business website, and test the complete signup journey.

Service Scope

Mailchimp Signup Forms & Website Integration is a fixed-scope service for one business, one Mailchimp account, one prepared primary audience, and one client-controlled website.

The service includes one embedded signup form, one Mailchimp popup form, up to five approved signup fields, basic brand styling, opt-in configuration, standard signup responses, installation across up to two approved website placements, and controlled testing.

This package connects website lead capture to Mailchimp. It does not include general Mailchimp account setup, contact imports, website redesign, custom application development, email campaigns, or marketing automation.

Review the Audience and Website

We review the selected Mailchimp audience and the approved website locations where signup opportunities should appear.

The review covers:

  • Available audience fields
  • Current opt-in settings
  • Existing signup forms
  • Approved website platform
  • Available form-placement areas
  • Existing website styling
  • Privacy-policy location
  • Desired subscriber information
  • Basic technical access requirements

The website must allow Mailchimp embed code, scripts, or another supported integration method.

Plan the Signup Experience

We define a practical signup path based on the client’s approved objective.

The signup experience may be designed for:

  • Newsletter subscriptions
  • Company updates
  • Promotional emails
  • Educational content
  • Product announcements
  • Event notifications
  • Lead-magnet access
  • Another approved email-marketing purpose

The client provides the final offer, form wording, disclosure language, consent language, and promised incentive.

Configure the Approved Signup Fields

We configure up to five approved fields across the included forms.

These may include:

  • Email address
  • First name
  • Last name
  • Company name
  • Phone number
  • Location
  • Customer type
  • Interest category
  • Another approved audience field

Email address remains the primary email-contact identifier.

Complex conditional fields, extensive questionnaires, quizzes, calculations, file uploads, payment fields, account-registration forms, and custom database forms are not included.

Create One Embedded Signup Form

We create one Mailchimp embedded signup form connected to the approved audience.

The embedded form may include:

  • Approved audience fields
  • Required and optional field settings
  • Custom field labels
  • Supporting help text
  • Approved button wording
  • One source-identification tag
  • Basic success or error messaging
  • Available Mailchimp form settings

The generated form code is prepared for installation on the approved website.

Apply Basic Embedded-Form Styling

We apply basic styling so the embedded form fits the client’s existing website more naturally.

Styling may include:

  • Font selection from available website fonts
  • Text colors
  • Background colors
  • Field borders
  • Input spacing
  • Button colors
  • Button shape
  • Form width
  • Basic mobile responsiveness

The form is adapted to the existing website design. Creating a new visual identity, redesigning the surrounding page, or rebuilding the website section is not included.

Create One Mailchimp Popup Form

We create one Mailchimp popup signup form connected to the same approved audience.

The popup may include:

  • One approved Mailchimp popup template
  • Approved headline and supporting copy
  • Up to five approved fields
  • One call-to-action button
  • Basic brand colors
  • One approved image or logo
  • One source-identification tag
  • Available display rules
  • Available close and dismissal behavior

Popup capabilities, templates, incentives, visitor rules, and scheduling options depend on Mailchimp’s current form editor and the client’s active plan.

Configure Popup Display Rules

We configure one practical popup-display approach using the options available in Mailchimp.

The approved rules may consider:

  • Initial visitor delay
  • Page-view conditions
  • Exit behavior
  • Specific website pages
  • New or returning visitors
  • Dismissal frequency
  • Mobile presentation
  • Published or unpublished status

Advanced behavioral targeting, custom JavaScript triggers, geographic targeting, user-account conditions, e-commerce cart logic, and cross-domain rules are not included.

Configure the Opt-In Method

We configure the client-approved single or double opt-in method for the selected audience.

With single opt-in, an eligible visitor is added after submitting the form. With double opt-in, the visitor must complete Mailchimp’s confirmation process before becoming a subscribed contact.

The client is responsible for selecting the appropriate opt-in method and supplying approved consent and disclosure language.

KizilCo does not provide legal advice or certify that a particular form satisfies privacy, advertising, accessibility, or industry-specific requirements.

Review reCAPTCHA and Spam-Protection Settings

We review the available Mailchimp reCAPTCHA and spam-protection settings associated with the approved signup process.

Some hosted confirmation steps and form types use Mailchimp-controlled reCAPTCHA behavior that cannot be fully edited.

Third-party anti-spam services, custom server-side validation, fraud detection, disposable-email blocking, and advanced bot-prevention development are not included.

Configure Signup Responses

We configure the standard Mailchimp response experience available for the selected audience and included forms.

This may include:

  • Signup success messaging
  • Double opt-in instructions
  • Confirmation thank-you messaging
  • Existing website-return link
  • Basic error messaging
  • Approved field guidance
  • Available default language settings

Custom-designed external thank-you pages are not included unless those pages already exist and only a supported redirect must be configured.

Install the Forms on One Website

We install the embedded form and required popup connection code on one approved website.

The package covers up to two approved placements, which may include:

  • Website footer
  • Newsletter section
  • Contact page
  • Blog sidebar
  • Homepage section
  • Dedicated existing signup page
  • Another approved existing location

The popup integration may use a site-wide code location when required by Mailchimp and supported by the website platform.

Preserve Existing Website Functionality

Installation is limited to the code and styling required for the approved forms.

We avoid intentionally changing unrelated website sections, navigation, checkout functions, applications, analytics, or existing integrations.

KizilCo is not responsible for undocumented custom code, unsupported themes, third-party application conflicts, platform restrictions, or pre-existing website errors discovered during implementation.

Test the Signup Journey

We complete one controlled testing cycle using up to three client-approved test submissions.

Testing covers:

  • Desktop form display
  • Mobile form display
  • Required-field behavior
  • Basic validation messages
  • Embedded-form submission
  • Popup-form submission
  • Opt-in behavior
  • Contact arrival in the selected audience
  • Approved field mapping
  • Source tag application
  • Signup response or confirmation experience

Test contacts may need to be removed or archived after validation according to Mailchimp’s platform rules.

Implementation Summary

The client receives a concise implementation summary identifying:

  • The audience connected
  • The forms created
  • The fields configured
  • The opt-in method selected
  • The website placements used
  • The source tags applied
  • The popup rules configured
  • The testing completed
  • Any unresolved website or platform limitation

The Mailchimp account, website, forms, audience, and collected contact information remain owned and controlled by the client.
