Make Every Important Page Easier to Find
Service Scope
On-Page SEO Optimization is a fixed-scope implementation service designed to improve how individual website pages communicate their topic, relevance, and purpose to search engines and users.
The service covers one existing website, one primary geographic market, and optimization of up to 20 priority pages.
Priority pages may include service pages, product or collection pages, landing pages, category pages, location pages, and other commercially important pages selected for organic search improvement.
The objective is to strengthen each approved page around relevant search intent while maintaining clear, natural, and useful content for visitors.
Keyword-to-Page Targeting
We review the relationship between priority pages and the searches they are intended to target.
Optimization may include:
- Primary keyword selection
- Secondary keyword identification
- Search intent alignment
- Keyword-to-page mapping
- Topic relevance review
- Existing ranking query observations
- Duplicate keyword targeting identification
- Keyword cannibalization observations
The goal is to give each important page a clear organic search purpose and reduce unnecessary competition between pages on the same website.
This service includes page-level keyword targeting required for optimization but does not include a complete enterprise-level keyword research project.
Page Titles & Meta Descriptions
We review and optimize title tags and meta descriptions for approved pages.
Optimization may include:
- Primary keyword alignment
- Page topic clarity
- Title length
- Duplicate title correction
- Brand positioning
- Search intent
- Meta description relevance
- Organic click-through considerations
Metadata is written to accurately represent the page and improve its presentation in organic search results.
Search engines may modify displayed titles or descriptions at their discretion.
Heading Structure
We review the heading hierarchy of each approved page to help organize content clearly for users and search engines.
Optimization may include:
- H1 structure
- H2 and H3 organization
- Duplicate H1 correction
- Keyword relevance
- Topic hierarchy
- Section organization
- Heading clarity
- Missing heading opportunities
The objective is to create a logical content structure without forcing unnecessary keywords into headings.
Content Relevance Optimization
Existing page content is reviewed to determine whether it sufficiently explains the page topic and satisfies the likely intent behind relevant searches.
Optimization may include:
- Improving topical relevance
- Strengthening important page sections
- Clarifying service or product information
- Adding supporting terminology
- Removing unnecessary repetition
- Correcting keyword overuse
- Improving content hierarchy
- Addressing weak or incomplete page topics
- Strengthening calls to action where appropriate
Reasonable edits to existing content are included within the approved scope.
Complete rewriting of long-form pages, creation of extensive new content, or production of new articles is not included unless separately scoped.
Search Intent Alignment
Each priority page is reviewed against the type of search it is intended to serve.
We consider whether users searching the target topic are primarily looking to:
- Learn
- Compare
- Evaluate
- Purchase
- Request a service
- Contact a business
- Find a local provider
- Navigate to a specific resource
Page structure and content recommendations are aligned with the relevant intent so the page better matches both user expectations and organic search opportunities.
Internal Linking Optimization
We review internal links between relevant pages to improve website navigation, page discovery, and the distribution of internal authority.
Optimization may include:
- Adding contextual internal links
- Improving anchor text
- Connecting related services or products
- Strengthening priority pages
- Identifying orphaned pages
- Removing or correcting broken internal links
- Improving navigational pathways
Internal linking changes are limited to the approved website and pages accessible within the project scope.
URL & Page Structure Review
Priority page URLs and structural elements are reviewed for basic on-page SEO consistency.
The review may include:
- URL readability
- Keyword relevance
- Unnecessary parameters
- Duplicate page paths
- Page hierarchy
- Existing slug structure
- Canonical relationship observations
Existing URLs are not automatically changed because URL changes can affect rankings, backlinks, and indexing.
If a URL change is recommended, it will only be implemented when appropriate redirects and client approval are available.
Image SEO
Images located on approved pages are reviewed for basic search optimization and accessibility.
Optimization may include:
- Image alt text
- Descriptive image context
- Missing alt attributes
- File-name observations
- Oversized image observations
- Relevant image placement
This service does not include custom image design, professional image compression projects, or replacement of the client’s existing visual assets.
Content Duplication & Cannibalization
We review priority pages for significant overlap that may make it difficult for search engines to determine which page should rank for a particular topic.
The review may identify:
- Duplicate targeting
- Similar service pages
- Overlapping page topics
- Repetitive content
- Competing landing pages
- Keyword cannibalization
- Pages that may require consolidation
Minor corrections within the approved pages may be implemented.
Major content consolidation, page deletion, or site restructuring requires client approval and may require separate scope.
Local On-Page Optimization
For businesses targeting specific geographic markets, approved pages may also be optimized for relevant local search signals.
Optimization may include:
- Geographic relevance
- Service-area terminology
- Location information
- Local page headings
- Local metadata
- Contact information consistency
- Google Business Profile website alignment
- Relevant internal links to location pages
Location optimization is used only where it accurately reflects the areas the business actually serves.
On-Page Implementation
Approved on-page SEO improvements are implemented directly when the required website access is available.
Implementation may include updates to:
- Page titles
- Meta descriptions
- Headings
- Existing page copy
- Internal links
- Image alt text
- SEO fields
- Page structure
- Relevant CMS settings
Implementation is limited to functionality supported by the existing website platform, theme, applications, and content management system.
Final SEO Validation
After optimization is completed, we review the approved pages to verify that the intended on-page changes have been applied correctly.
Validation may include:
- Title tag review
- Meta description review
- Heading validation
- Keyword targeting review
- Internal link checks
- Alt text review
- Page accessibility checks
- Indexability observations
- Content structure review
Any major technical issues discovered during the work that fall outside the on-page scope will be documented as recommendations.

Client Requirements

- Google Search Console
- Google Analytics
- Existing keyword or SEO reports
- Relevant SEO applications or plugins
The client should identify any pages, wording, legal statements, product information, or brand messaging that must not be modified.
Scope Boundaries
This service focuses on optimization of existing website pages.
It does not include a complete technical SEO audit, advanced technical SEO development, full-site keyword research, creation of new long-form articles, backlink acquisition, digital PR, complete website redesign, website migration, ongoing rank tracking, ongoing SEO management, paid advertising, or third-party software fees.
The service does not guarantee specific rankings, traffic volumes, indexing speed, leads, or revenue because search engine rankings and search-result presentation remain controlled by the search engines.
