Build a Stronger Foundation for Organic Search
Service Scope
Technical SEO Setup & Optimization is a fixed-scope implementation service designed to improve the technical foundation of one existing website for organic search.
The service covers one primary website, one primary geographic market, and up to 50 priority or indexed pages.
The objective is to correct approved technical SEO issues that may interfere with crawling, indexing, page discovery, search engine understanding, and overall organic visibility.
Crawlability & Indexation
We review and optimize the website’s ability to be discovered and processed by search engines.
Work may include:
- Crawl accessibility
- Indexation settings
- Noindex and index directives
- Search engine accessibility
- Duplicate URL identification
- Unnecessary crawl paths
- Orphaned page identification
- Important page discoverability
- Indexing consistency
The goal is to make sure important pages can be accessed and indexed while unnecessary or problematic URLs are handled appropriately.
XML Sitemap & Robots.txt
We review the website’s XML sitemap and robots.txt configuration to identify settings that may interfere with search engine crawling or indexing.
Optimization may include:
- XML sitemap validation
- Removal of invalid or unnecessary URLs
- Confirmation of important indexable pages
- Robots.txt directive review
- Crawl restriction corrections
- Sitemap reference validation
- Search Console sitemap submission
Platform limitations may affect which sitemap elements can be manually modified.
Canonical & URL Optimization
We review canonical signals and URL behavior to reduce duplicate-content problems and help search engines identify preferred versions of pages.
Work may include:
- Canonical tag validation
- Self-referencing canonical review
- Duplicate URL correction
- HTTP and HTTPS consistency
- WWW and non-WWW consistency
- Trailing-slash consistency
- Parameterized URL observations
- Preferred URL configuration
Major URL restructuring or website migration is not included unless separately scoped.
Redirects & Broken Links
We identify and correct approved redirect and broken-link issues that may create poor user experiences or interfere with search engine crawling.
Work may include:
- Broken internal links
- Incorrect redirects
- Redirect chains
- Redirect loops
- Missing destination pages
- Outdated internal URLs
- 404 issues affecting important pages
Redirect implementation is limited to functionality supported by the client’s website platform and available administrative access.
Site Structure & Internal Technical Signals
We review technical elements of the website structure that influence how search engines understand the relationship between important pages.
Optimization may include:
- Internal navigation paths
- Important page accessibility
- Page hierarchy
- Internal URL consistency
- Basic internal linking corrections
- Breadcrumb implementation review
- Duplicate structural paths
- Crawl depth observations
This service does not include a complete website redesign or rebuilding the site architecture from scratch.
Structured Data
Where appropriate and supported by the website, we review and implement or correct basic structured data that helps search engines better understand page content and business information.
Structured data work may include applicable schema such as:
- Organization
- Local Business
- Website
- Breadcrumb
- Product
- Article
- FAQ
- Other relevant basic schema types
Implementation depends on the website platform, theme, applications, plugins, and existing structured data.
Eligibility for enhanced search-result features is controlled by search engines and cannot be guaranteed.
Search Console Configuration
Google Search Console is reviewed or configured when appropriate access is provided.
Work may include:
- Property verification
- Sitemap submission
- Index coverage review
- Page indexing checks
- Manual indexing requests where appropriate
- Technical issue identification
- Search enhancement observations
- Core Web Vitals observations
Existing Search Console data may also be used to validate technical SEO improvements.
Performance & Core Web Vitals Review
We review major performance indicators that may affect search visibility and user experience.
The review may include:
- Largest Contentful Paint
- Interaction to Next Paint
- Cumulative Layout Shift
- Mobile performance
- Desktop performance
- Image delivery
- Script-related observations
- Theme or application performance issues
- Page-loading bottlenecks
Reasonable configuration improvements may be made where they can be safely completed within the existing website environment.
Advanced development, server infrastructure changes, custom application redevelopment, or complete performance engineering are not included.
Technical Implementation
Approved technical SEO corrections identified within the agreed scope are implemented directly when the required platform access and functionality are available.
Implementation may involve website settings, theme configuration, SEO fields, redirects, internal links, structured data, indexing directives, and supported technical SEO controls.
Changes that require extensive custom development, third-party developers, premium applications, server administration, or major website restructuring will be identified but are outside the fixed scope.
Validation & Final Review
After implementation, we perform a final technical review to verify that the approved changes have been applied correctly.
Validation may include:
- Crawl checks
- Indexability checks
- Sitemap validation
- Robots.txt validation
- Canonical validation
- Redirect testing
- Broken-link review
- Structured data validation
- Search Console checks
- Priority-page technical review
The client receives a summary of the work completed and any remaining recommendations that require additional development or ongoing SEO work.
